Custom Orthotics

Custom foot orthotics are designed to relieve foot or lower body pain due to abnormal gait/walking or to deformities in your feet. The best orthotics are custom made devices specifically crafted to meet the needs of a particular individual. Custom orthotics are clinically proven to be more effective in treating conditions such as heel pain than over the counter items sold in the pharmacy.

Custom foot orthotics are made by making an impression of the foot with a paster cast.  The impressions in the cast duplicates any misalignments or defects in the foot.  The specialists at the orthotic lab then correct the cast according to Daniel's script with compensation and stabilization techniques.

The finished orthotics are then placed in the patient’s shoes to provide functions such as supporting the arch, offloading pressure areas, limiting excessive pronation or supination and changing the way you walk.  Orthotics can also be made to provide cushioning to increase shock absorption and pressure relief to bony prominences or sensitive areas.

Orthotics should always be comfortable and feel 'natural'. If your orthotic is not comfortable or performing as intended, book an appointment with Daniel.
